Using Kegs for Spirits

altThe 12lt party kegs are perfect for pre-mixing your spirits if you are having a party. Whether you already have a keg set-up with gas bottle, or use a 12lt keg with a portable gas supply, you can make up 12lts of your favourite brew - Rum and Coke, Dark and Stormy, Scotch and Dry, Midori and lemonade.

Here's how:

  • Pour 8 litres of soft drink into the keg slowly (so it doesn't froth and lose most of its bubbles)
  • Add 1.5lt of your favourite spirit.
  • Connect and run your gas bottle at 10PSI (70KPA) for pouring or use the portable keg charger.

altSit the keg in a bucket or Esky full of ice and you have the makings of a pretty good night out!
