Make Your Top Shelf Classic Spirits Even Better

The Top Shelf Classic line of spirit essences is a great range of products. By themselves, they will produce an excellent result, but as any home-brewer knows, there is always room for improvement. We've put together some basic add-ons recipes which we are sure will help you produce an even better result.

Classic Whiskey

  • glycerine 5 to 10ml per liter
  • Top Shelf Premium French oak extract 5ml per liter

Classic American Bourbon

  • Soak spirit on Still Spirits Gobblers bourbon chips - 1/2 packet chips soaked in 2 liters spirit for 10-14 days and then strained off chips.
  • Add essence to strained spirit
  • glycerine 5 to 10ml per liter

Classic Tennessee Bourbon

  • Soak spirit on Still Spirits Tennessee bourbon chips - 1/2 packet of chips soaked in 2 liters of spirit for 10-14 days and then strained off the chips.
  • Add essence to strained spirit
  • Glycerine 5 to 10ml per liter

Classic Qld Gold Rum:

  • Glycerine 5 to 10ml per litre
  • Spirits Unlimited American oak flavour extract 5ml per liter

Classic Finest Reserve Whiskey

  • Glycerine 5 to10ml per liter
  • Top Shelf Premium French Oak extract 5ml per liter
