This month, the My Choice spirit essences are at fantastic prices. The My Choice range are essences that we choose to drink ourselves and are proud to put our name to. If you have not tried these essences yet, give them a go this month and find out how good they are. My Choice essences include:
Drop Bear Rum – similar to Bundy but a little lighter, smoother and very easy to drink. If you want to get closer to the real thing, try using a raw sugar wash to get that “burnt sugar” flavour. Makes 2 x 700mls. NOW Just $5.00
Brumby Rum – a darker Queensland dark rum, sweeter and more “caramelly”, stronger flavour - very smooth drinking, and my favourite rum! Wacol Store is Moving
From February 1 2010, the Wacol store will be trading at its new location on the opposite side of Ipswich Rd near the corner of Boundary Rd and Progress Rd (Just next to the BP service station). Our last day at the old Wacol store will be Saturday January 30.
The new location will give us much better parking and and much more space to expand and best of all, the store will be fully air conditioned making the Wacol store a much nicer place to shop!
Sooner or later we would have had to make this move as the old store is likely to be totally over-run with road works and new roads.
We all look forward to seeing you at our new spacious, luxurious location from the beginning of February! See you there.
BRILLIANT NEW STILL HAS ARRRIVED!
Still Spirits has finally release their Turbo 500 Still – a great still that produces 92-93% purity consistently across the entire wash. It also maximizes recovery of alcohol – up to 95% of available alcohol. The condenser uses two digital thermometers, and both ceramic and copper saddles
The boiler, designed specifically for the Turbo 500 condensor, runs a covered 2000w element and includes a waste discharge tap. It comes with a Thermal cut out fuse and a boil-dry reset button – no more destroyed elements when you forget to add the wash or turn of the still.
