Grain Steeping Bag
Our Grain Steeping Bag is ideal when steeping fresh specialty grain to add your brew. Tie a knot in the end of the Grain Steeping Bag, pour your grain into the other end and drop into a saucepan of 1 litre of hot (not boiling) water for 10 - 30 Minutes. At the end of steeping, simply remove the bag, give it a light squeeze and discard the grain. Then boil the grain wort for 10 minutes before adding to the fermenter for a lovely fresh grain flavour to your beer. You can also add some fresh hop pellets to the boil as well to improve yur flavour even more.
