Whirlfloc tablets are added to the kettle during the final stages of boiling. Whirlfloc tablets combine with proteins and beta glucans (which cause hazing in your beers) to drop out and remain in the kettle when you drain your wort off to the fermenter.
Each packet contains 10 whirlfloc tablets.
